Add a new version to a taxonomy

To manually add a new version to a taxonomy as a minor version or a major version, follow the steps below.

1.  Navigate to the Taxonomy Dashboard.

The Taxonomy Dashboard page is displayed.

2.  Click the  icon on the row of the taxonomy for which you wish to add a version.

A dropdown list is displayed.

3.  Click Add Version.

The Clone Version dialog is displayed.

In the following example, we are showing you how to add the Minor Version of the taxonomy.  You can follow the same steps to add a Major version.

4.  Click Copy as Minor.

The Success dialog is displayed. 

5.  Click Ok.

The minor version is added.

Note: You can add a version to a taxonomy only when the current version state is Published.
